The 22nd edition of the Sveti Duje International Rowing Regatta was held in Split from the 10th to the 12th of May. The tradition continued this year as the best university rowing crews from Europe and beyond gathered in Split, Croatia, to take part in the Sveti Duje International Rowing Regatta.

The event was organised by the Croatian Academic Sport Federation (CASF), the University of Split and the Split University Sport Association in cooperation with local partners, under the auspices of the European University Sport Association (EUSA). 

The 22nd edition of the International Rowing Regatta 'Sveti Duje (Holy Spirit) was ceremonially opened on the 10th of May at the Meštrović Gallery, in a relaxed, friendly and dreamy atmosphere, where all participants, visitors and guests gathered. The opening ceremony was filled with a beautiful atmosphere, speeches and a great opportunity for the team representatives to meet and get to know each other.

Saturday 11 May was the day when the International Rowing Regatta 'Sveti Duje' officially started with great qualifying races and continued with the amazing and exciting finals. The University Eights finals produced a champion and top three finishers in both the men's and women's categories:

In the women's category, the gold medal went to the University of Oxford and the silver to the University of Cambridge, commemorating the famous regatta on the River Thames in London that has been held between the two English universities since 1829. Third place and the bronze medal went to the rowers from the University of Zagreb.

In the men's competition, first place went to the University of Cambridge, second to the University of Tartu, Finland, and third to Imperial College of London.

The second day of the competition was dedicated to the Race of Legends, with rowers from Oxford, Cambridge and Split taking part. The winners of this year's Race of Legends were the Cambridge Legends, with the Oxford Legends and Split Legends taking second and third place on the podium.
