Artistic Gymnastics has been held at the Summer EYOF at every edition of the event to date, with the exception of the inaugural festival held in Brussels in 1991.

Boys will compete on the floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar, while girls will see action on the floor, vault, uneven bars and beam.

All-around, team, mixed pair and individual apparatus titles will be up for grabs.

Athletics will return to the Summer EYOF in Maribor having been ever-present at the Festival since the event's debut in 1991.

A full track and field programme will be held, including medley relays. 

3x3 basketball will make its Summer EYOF debut in Maribor in 2023. 

It comes after the discipline made its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020.

Handball did not feature at the first two editions of the Summer EYOF, but has not missed a festival since then.

Eight-team tournaments will be held for both boys and girls.

Judo has featured at every edition of the Summer EYOF since its debut in 1991, and keeps its place in Maribor.

Eight weight divisions will be held for both boys and girls, alongside a mixed team event.

Skateboarding will make its debut at the Summer EYOF at Maribor 2023.

It follows the sport featuring at the Olympic Games for the first time at Tokyo 2020.

Street competitions will be held for boys and girls.

Swimming will be included at Maribor 2023 after featuring at every edition of the Summer EYOF to date.

A full programme will be held.

Tennis is due to make its 13th appearance at the Summer EYOF in Maribor.

It featured at the first two editions in 1991 and 1993, and then appeared again in 2001.

Since 2005, tennis has been ever-present.

In Maribor, singles and doubles for boys and girls will be held, as well as mixed doubles.

Volleyball will keep up its 100 per cent record at the Summer EYOF, after appearing at every edition since 1991.

Eight-team tournaments will be held for both boys and girls.
