The international delegations for the eighth Jiu-Jitsu Asian Championships, comprising athletes, coaches, and officials, have started arriving in Abu Dhabi as the competitions gear up to kick off on Friday. The championships, held under the patronage of Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, will bring together over 1,500 male and female competitors from more than 30 countries at the Mubadala Arena from May 3-8.

The Jiu-Jitsu National Team is in the final stage of preparations for the eighth Jiu-Jitsu Asian Championship, which will take place at the Mubadala Arena in Abu Dhabi from 3-8 May. The event, organised by the Jiu-Jitsu Asian Union and hosted by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation, will also feature the inaugural Jiu-Jitsu Asian Youth Championship, a dedicated competition for athletes under 21, 18, and 16 years of age.

Preparations for the 8th Jiu-Jitsu Asian Championship, scheduled to run from May 3 to 8 at Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City, are nearing completion, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation announced. The competitions, which will attract 1,500 athletes from over 30 countries, will be hosted by Abu Dhabi for the second time in the last three years.

The Jiu-Jitsu National Team, comprising adult and youth division athletes, is immersed in rigorous training, with only a few days remaining until the eighth Jiu-Jitsu Asian Championships kick off at Abu Dhabi’s Mubadala Arena from May 3 - 8. The championships will bring together more than 1,500 players from over 30 countries.

With a clear majority, the General Assembly of the German Ju-Jutsu Federation (DJJV) has re-elected Roland Köhler as President of the organisation for another four-year term.

With its formula of mixing Jiu-Jitsu and MMA powerhouses in a cage under a ruleset favouring aggression, the Abu Dhabi Extreme Championship has earned its place in the hearts and minds of Jiu-Jitsu fans around the world.

The 2024 Ju Jitsu European Championships U16-U18-U21 took place from 4-7 April in Costanza, Romania.

The fourth edition of the ADXC has been confirmed for 18 May in Paris. The Dojo, a gymnasium located in the heart of the French capital and just a few kilometres away from the Eiffel Tower, will host the competition.

The Romanian city of Pitesti is getting ready to host the 2024 Ju Jitsu European Championships U16, U18 and U21, which will take place from 4 to 7 April.

Sharjah Self-Defence Sports Club dominated the adult competition at the NAS Sports Jiu-Jitsu Tournament, held at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai. The two-day tournament, which culminated in exciting fights on Monday night, saw Sharjah Self-Defence take first place. 

 Al Ain Jiu-Jitsu Club and Palms Sports - Team 777 topped the leaderboard on the opening day of the NAS Sports Jiu-Jitsu Tournament 2024, held at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex in Dubai. Competitions for the Juvenile (born in 2007 and 2008) and Master divisions took place on Sunday.

Al Wahda Club Jiu-Jitsu Academy and Baniyas Jiu-Jitsu Club were crowned champions at the Jiu-Jitsu President's Cup, held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 15-16 March. 

On the 9th and 10th of March, the European Cup tournament of the Ju-Jitsu European Union took place in Westerlo, Belgium, with Dutch athletes as the main protagonists.

The Jiu-Jitsu President's Cup, one of the most important jiu-jitsu events in the UAE, will be held at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on 15-16 March, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation has announced. The championship, an annual event held during the holy month of Ramadan, will bring together the top clubs and academies from across the UAE. 

In the latest move to consolidate the UAE's and Abu Dhabi's leadership on the continental and global jiu-jitsu map, Abu Dhabi will host the eighth edition of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Championships at the Mubadala Arena in Zayed Sports City from 1-8 May, the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation has announced.
