Among women, Deng got the better of Natalia Kałucka of Poland.

The Chinese star clocked 6.58 comparted to the 6.69 from Kałucka.

There was more joy for the hosts as Niu Di joined Deng on the podium after winning bronze in 6.89.

Despite the silver, Kałucka won the 2023 overall speed series with 3,700 points while compatriot Aleksandra Mirosław clinched second with 3,545 points.

Win in Wujiang helped Deng finish third with 3535 points.

Despite missing the event, Indonesian star Leonardo Veddriq topped the charts among men with 3,470 points.

Wu finished second with 3,405 points and Samuel Watson of the United States came third with 2550 points.

Anraku Sorato and Mori Ai starred for Japan in another double from the World Cup in lead events.

After winning in Briançon and Koper, Sorato added a third gold to his name with a score of 39+.

Japan dominated the podium with Omata Shion taking silver in 30+ and Homma Taisei winning bronze in 26+.

Mori, meanwhile, struck fold among women with a performance of 36+.

Jessica Pilz of Austria was the silver medallist with 31+, her 20th lead World Cup podium.

Tanii Natsuki of Japan grabbed the bronze medal with 26+.

Pilz won the series title with 3,235 points with second and third place going to Olympic champion Janja Garnbret of Slovenia on 3,000 points and compatriot Vita Lukan on 2,725.

Sorato, who clinched the overall title before Wujiang, finished with 4,300 points.

Germany’s Alexander Megos was second on 2,650 points while Taisei with 2,455 points secured third place.
