Tenth seeds Francisco Javier Leal Pérez and Javier Rico Dasi have progressed to the second round of the Paris Major Premier Padel.

The Spanish duo defeated compatriots Teodoro Víctor Zapata Pizarro and France’s Benjamin Tison on Court Philippe Chatrier.

Leal Pérez and Rico Dasi took the first 6-3 before claiming the challenging second set 7-6.

Brazil’s Lucas Bergamini and Spain’s Víctor Ruiz Remedios also advanced to the round of 32 thanks to a victory over Spanish pairing Christian Fuster Simarro and Miguel Ángel Solbes Llorens.

Bergamini and Remedios, the 14th seeds, were pushed for their triumph, winning 7-6, 6-4.

Spain saw more success with Eduardo Alonso Chillarón and Jorge Ruiz Gutiérrez overcoming Argentina’s Cristian Germán Gutiérrez and Sweden’s Daniel Windahl 6-3, 7-6.

Pablo García Rodrigo and Alonso Rodríguez Martínez, who both represent Spain, beat compatriots Javier Pérez Morillas and Adrián Rodríguez Rodríguez-Manzaneque 6-3, 6-3.

Spain's Mario Cerezo Casado and Luís Ortega Pérez also managed to reach the next round thanks to a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 win against compatriots Adrián Ronco López and Mario Huete Hernández.
