Television broadcaster Eurosport is set to show some of the best action from the 2019 International University Sports Federation (FISU) Summer World University Games.

With the 30th edition of the Games having took place in Naples in Italy from July 3 to 14 2019, some of the best highlights from the two weeks will be on display tomorrow, with a repeat the day after.

A two-hour programme will air tomorrow at 11am GMT on Eurosport 1 and then on Tuesday May 26 at 9pm GMT on Eurosport 2.

Sports such as athletics, swimming, water polo and volleyball will be featured.

More than 6,000 athletes represented 118 countries at the Games, competing in 18 different sports.

Japan finished top of the Games medal table for the second time in a row, holding off Russia, China, United States and South Korea.

Hosts Italy finished sixth in the table.

Eurosport's output is currently focused on showing highlights of archive sport with live sport being limited due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

To date, there have been more than 5.46 million confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide, resulting in the deaths of over 345,000 people.
