Mizuno Performance_Centre_4_JulyJuly 4 - Japanese sportswear giant Mizuno will be opening a pop-up experience centre at Centre Point in London this summer for the duration of the Olympic and Paralympics.

Centre Point, in Tottenham Court Road, is one of the iconic venues in the heart of the British capital, and Londoners and tourists will be welcome through its doors from July 24, three days before the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics, to August 12.

Inside, Mizuno will have state-of-the-art activity zones (pictured top) for sprinting, football and handball which test speed, agility, accuracy and power, with prizes given to the highest scorers.

There will also be a free biomechanical running analysis and a range of Mizuno's sports products on offer to test out.

Mizuno also promise that leading athletes will be in attendance this summer, as well as displaying sporting artwork from Japanese artist Hidekichi Shigemoto.

The company's new range of Seiei footwear, being worn by Mizuno's athletes, will also be on show.

True to their roots, Mizuno are to showcase Japanese culture alongside the advanced sports technology that will feature in Centre Point.

"Our customers have a wonderful opportunity to try out the latest Seiei Collection products, interact with our sports stars and explore more about our Japanese heritage in what will be a truly exciting day out for all the family."
