Among those in attendance at the University of Physical Education was the Hungarian University Sports Federation (HUSF), as well as all of the national associations for sports which are part of the Games programme.

HUSF President Lajos Mocsai began with a speech in which he emphasised "the importance of sports among young people".

He asked the representatives present to give their professional support to help with the organisation of what is Hungary's largest multi-sport event.
