Eirin Maria Kvandal suffered a nasty crash on her second run but fortunately she walked away without serious injuries, although it did mean she finished in last place.

Pinkelnig's Crystal Globe triumph was confirmed yesterday in the Norwegian town and she now has 1,612 points in total.

Althaus is safe in second with 1,437 while Slovenia's Ema Klinec leads the race for third place on 1,255.

With just one event left, the only person that can take Klinec's place is Norway's Anna Odine Strøm who is 57 points behind.

Klinec is leading the Raw Air tournament, which has ran since January 10, on 1,444.9 points while Althaus is closely following her on 1,424.1 with one event remaining.

Vikersund in Norway will see the champion of the fourth edition of the competition crowned.

However, it does not count towards the women's World Cup season which is set to conclude on March 24 in the Finnish city of Lahti.
