Three-time Paralympic table tennis medallist Aaron McKibbin is among nine recipients of a £1,500 ($1,800/€1,700) bursary to support their efforts to compete at Paris 2024.

Hogan Lovells, the British Paralympic Association's official legal services provider, has awarded the Nicholas Cheffings Para Athlete Bursary to this year’s selection of Para athletes.

McKibbin, who claimed bronze at London 2012, Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, is among several Paralympic medallists to receive the financial support.

Para track and field star Olivia Breen, who bagged bronze at London 2012 and Tokyo 2020 and claimed Commonwealth Games gold at Birmingham 2022, is another recipient along with Paralympic taekwondo silver medallist Beth Munro.

The other bursary winners include wheelchair basketball player Jude Hamer, Para canoeist Hope Gordon, Para powerlifter Rebecca Bedford, Para table tennis player Felicity Pickard and Para athletics aces Emmanuel Oyinbo-Coker and Samantha Kinghorn.

The financial support is set to help towards purchasing and replacing vital equipment, paying for travel to training camps and competitions, additional coaching and training support services.
