A publicity song for the 2022 Asian Para Games, entitled "We Are One" has been released by organisers to mark 300 days until the multi-sport event is scheduled to begin in Hangzhou, China.

Organisers say the song "We Are One" focuses on the themes of openness, inclusiveness and harmony between the impaired and the healthy.

A music video for the song has been released and has been set on a virtual reality stage.

The video interchanges scenes of singers and Para athletes competing and training, and also includes the mascot, slogan and other visual elements of the Asian Para Games.

To coincide with 300 days until the event, scheduled to run from October 22 to 28, organisers also released a promotional video for goalball, one of the sports set to feature at the Asian Para Games.

The promotional video is set to feature a visual introduction to goalball, one of 22 sports on the programme for Hangzhou 2022.

Organisers have pledged to launch promotional videos for all remaining sports before June 2023.

The promotional videos are being released in both Chinese and English.

Both the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games and Asian Para Games were postponed in May 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Asian Games has been rescheduled for September 23 to October 8 2023.

Hangzhou 2022 is scheduled to be the second time China will host the Asian Para Games, after it previously hosted the inaugural edition in Guangzhou in 2010.
