Hosts Serbia topped the medals table at the World Shooting Para Sport Grand Prix in Novi Sad.

Competition took place in air rifle and pistol disciplines across four days at the Sajmište Sports Centre and NS Strelište respectively.

Serbia won three golds, three silvers and a bronze to top the table with seven medals.

The nation’s first gold came in the 50 metres pistol mixed SH1 category thanks to Rastko Jokic, who scored 212.9 points.

Compatriot Zivko Papaz took the silver with 209.9, with bronze going to Krisztina David of Hungary with 191.7.

The hosts second gold came in the 10m rifle prone mixed SH2 category through Dragan Ristic, who scored a total of 254.6 points.

Francek Tirsek Gorazd of Slovenia took silver with 254.3, with Britain’s Bevis James completing the podium with 232.7.

Ristic then earned his second gold of the Grand Prix in the 50m rifle prone mixed SH2 category, winning with 254.2 points.

Ukraine’s Vasyl Kovalchuk took silver with 250.4 points, with Tirsek Gorazd of Slovenia completing the podium with 228 points.

Hungary claimed second place in the medals table with a total of four medals, also including three golds.

The nation’s gold medallists were Krisztina David in the women’s 10m air pistol SH1, and Csaba Rescsik, who claimed victories in both the 10m air rifle standing men SH1 and 50m rifle three positions men SH1 categories.

Britain third in the medal table with a total of five, including two golds, won by Isobel Bailey in the 25m pistol mixed SH1 category, and Matthew Skelhon in the 10m air rifle prone mixed SH1 category.
