China topped the medals table at the Asian Shotgun Championships in Almaty, winning four of the 10 golds on offer.

That included winning both the men's and women's team trap events.

Wu Cuicui, Wang Xiaojing and Wang Xinyi won the women's team trap contest, beating Kuwait in the final.

Guo Yuhao, Qi Ying and Yu Haicheng also defeated Kuwaiti opposition in the men's final.

Kuwait did win mixed team trap gold via Talal Al-Rashidi and Sarah Al-Hawal.

Wu won the individual women's trap title for China and a trio of Wei Ning, Che Yufei and Huang Sixue won the women's team skeet crown.

Host nation Kazakhstan won the most total medals, 10, with three of them gold.

This included winning the mixed team skeet final on the last day.

Kuwait also won three gold medals at the Asanov Shooting Club.
