The National Olympic Committee of Zambia (NOCZ) has opened a digital media studio in a bid to improve its online content through audio, photography and video.

This studio is to be made up of two components - a content management section and a component dedicated to cloud software.

It will allow the NOCZ and the National Federations to create in-house content for digital distribution.

The cloud will allow the NOCZ to keep its photos and videos permanently.

It aligns with the IOC's Digital Agenda 2020+5 guidelines, which encourages NOCs to "use digital technologies as a powerful tool to engage with our audiences and people, delivering digital communications and content that reinforce and promote the Olympic values that are more important and powerful than ever".

Drone footage will be utilised too to assist coaching of athletes in their preparations for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The NOCZ also hopes to improve its reach for awareness campaigns related to safe sport and athlete education; while the organisation hope to attract better sponsors as a result of improved content.
