Germany and England are set to clash tomorrow and Thursday (May 5) in both the men's and women's International Hockey Federation (FIH) Pro League in Mönchengladbach.

The first women's fixture is scheduled to take place tomorrow at 3pm CEST at the Warsteiner HockeyPark.

The Germans last played on March 27 with a convincing 4-0 win against the United States.

They lie fourth in the table with 13 points after eight games while England have five points from four outings, leaving them in seventh.

For David Ralph's England side, Tess Howard is set to return to the squad for what could be her first full international match for more than a year having recovered from a long-term knee injury.

Lily Owsley is also set to play her first game since the Tokyo 2020 Olympics while there are also scheduled returns for Giselle Ansley and Hannah Martin.

The women's teams are then due to play again on May 5 at 1pm CEST, while the men's first match is due at 5.30pm CEST tomorrow before the teams are due to meet for the second time in as many days on Thursday at 3.30pm CEST.

Eric Langner has seen his German team enjoy moderate success so far this season as they sit third in the standings with 17 points from 10 matches while England are languishing down in seventh on seven points from six games.

For England, Ian Sloan is due to play for the first time since lining up for Britain at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where the team made it to the quarter-finals.

Will Calnan and Brendan Creed are also due back into the England fold.
