Russia laid claim to all 12 gold medals - including four overall titles - at the Tondiraba Ice Hall in Tallinn, as the International Skating Union (ISU) European Figure Skating Championships came to a close today.

It was a perfect day in the women's competition, with Russia finishing with all the medals.

Kamila Valieva added to her short programme with a free skating gold too, scoring 168.61 to her compatriot Anna Shcherbakova's 168.37.

Valieva won overall gold by a commanding margin of over 21 points, finishing with a total of 259.06.

Shcherbakova took silver with 237.42, while team mate Alexandra Trusova had a total of 234.36 after scoring 159.23 for free skating bronze.

Loena Hendrickx of Belgium and Poland's Ekaterina Kurakova completed the top five.

The ice dance category finished today too, with the duo of Victoria Sinitsina and Nikita Katsalapov adding the free dance gold to their rhythm dance title yesterday meaning the overall gold was theirs too.

They successfully defended their 2020 titles with a free dance score of 130.07 to finish with a total of 217.96.

It was a Russian one-two as Alexandra Stepanova and Ivan Bukin finished with silvers in both categories and second overall with a free dance mark of 126.75 for a total of 213.20.

Italy's Charlène Guignard and Marco Fabbri finished third again with 124.62, for a total of 207.97.

Spain's Olivia Smart and Adrián Díaz finished fourth and fifth place went to Britons Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson.
