Today, the squad headed to Bridgewater in Nova Scotia to face South Korea for a four-game series at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre, which ends on November 19.

Following that series, the team is then set to compete at the International Para Hockey Cup in Ostrava in the Czech Republic.

Joining them in the four-team exhibition tournament will be Czech Republic, the Russian Paralympic Committee and the US for six games at RT Torax Arena, scheduled from December 12 to 19.

Another two-game series takes place against the US at the Woolwich Memorial Centre in Elmira in Ontario from January 31 to February 6 2022, the last competition before the Paralympic Games, which is scheduled for March 4 to 13.

"We are excited to unveil our season schedule, and to have the opportunity to play the top international teams throughout the year on our journey to the Paralympics," said head coach Ken Babey.

"As important as our training camps are for our team, the value of competing against the top teams in the world throughout the year will greatly benefit our athletes as we progress towards competing for a gold medal in March." 

A training camp is also scheduled for January 9 to 14, although a location has yet to be determined, and later a pre-Paralympics training camp is to occur at WinSport Arena at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary from February 15 to 25.

Canada claimed silver at Pyeongchang 2018 and bronze at Sochi 2014, but failed to win a medal at their home Games, finishing fourth at Vancouver 2010.

The nation last won gold at Turin 2006.

Canada's final roster is to be determined in early February, according to Hockey Canada.
