The International Swimming League (ISL) playoffs have begun in Eindhoven, with Cali Condors and Energy Standard setting the early pace as expected.

Paris-aligned Energy Standard topped the regular-season standings, while Cali Condors are the defending champions and finished the regular season second.

The Condors are in front at the midpoint of the first game of the playoffs, with 287 points.

Energy Standard have 270, with third-placed DC Trident a long way back on 179 and Iron last on 164.

Lilly King, a five-time Olympic medallist, is top of the solo standings thanks to wins in the women's 200 metres breaststroke, 50m breaststroke and women's 4x100m medley.

The American is one of six Cali swimmers in the top 10 and has so far earned 39 points.

Swede Sarah Sjöström, the 2019 ISL Most Valuable Player (MVP), has 33, Belarus' Ilya Shymanovich 36 and Siobhán Haughey 31.5 as the next three swimmers all come from Energy Standard.

The match is set to conclude tomorrow at the Pieter van den Hoogenband Zwemstadion.

Six playoff games are scheduled before Eindhoven hosts the final on December 3 and 4.

The ISL regular season took place in Naples in Italy, before the series move to The Netherlands.
