They are the top seeds and have been drawn in Pool A in Miami, along with Mexico and Uruguay.

FIBA 3x3 World Cup winners Kareem Maddox and Canyon Barry are also a part of the team.

Second seeds Canada - led by veterans Steve Sir and Bikramjit Gill - will also be dangerous, as will Puerto Rico, who won the Lausanne Masters this year and are revitalised with Angel Matias and TJ Fernandez finding their best form once again.

Canada have been drawn into Pool B with Argentina and Saint Lucia, and Puerto Rico are in Pool D with the Dominican Republic and the first-place B qualifier.

Pool C features Brazil, Chile and first-place A qualifier.

The qualifiers will be determined tomorrow afternoon, with pool matches set to begin in the evening session.

The US are the second seeds in the women's competition, with Canada claiming the top spot.

The Canadians finished as runners-up in the Bucharest Final on the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series and will be eager to go one better as Michelle Plouffe and Catherine Traer lead the way.

Chile and Brazil are the third and fourth seeds.
