American Emily Shilson was among the victors on day four of the United World Wrestling (UWW) Under-23 (U23) World Championships as she claimed the title with a sensational headlock.

Out of nowhere, Shilson felled her opponent, Shivani Pawar of India, wrapping her in a headlock and winning by victor fall against.

The American consequently claimed the 50-kilograms title, with Romania's Stefania Claudia Priceptu and Mariia Tiumerokova of Russia winning bronze.

In the 55kg category, Andreea Beatrice Ana of Romania claimed the gold, defeating Viktoriia Vaulin of Russia.

India's Anju Anju and Turkey's Eda Tekin won the bronze medals.

Poland's Anhelina Lysak then beat Ukraine's Solomiia Vynnik 7-2 to win 59kg gold, with Krystsina Sazykin of Belarus and Anna Hella Szel of Hungary claiming bronze.

France's Koumba Larroque shut out her opponent, Vusala Parfianovich of Russia, to win the gold medal in the 68kg category.

Oksana Chudyk of Ukraine and Delgermaa Enkhsaikhan of Mongolia winning bronze.

The final medals to be dished out on day four of the UWW U23 World Championships came in the women's 76kg.

Kyrgyzstan's Aiperi Medet Kyzy won gold, defeating Colombia's Tatiana Renteria Renteria 3-1, and Kylie Renee Welker of the United States and Enrica Rinaldi of Italy winning bronze.

Competition continues tomorrow with medals decided in the women's 53kg, 57kg, 62kg, 65kg and 72kg divisions.
