The second seeds, France's Stephane Houdet and Nicolas Peifer beat Jef Vandorpe and Ruben Spaargaren 7-6, 6-0 to move top of Group B.

Vandorpe and Spaargaren sit second in Group B after a walkover win against Dermot Bailey of Britain and Tokito Oda of Japan, who lost to Spain's Martin de la Puente and Argentina's Gustavo Fernandez 6-0, 6-1.

In the other Group A match of the day, Tom Egberink and Maikel Scheffers of The Netherlands beat Chris Herman and Conor Stroud of the United States 6-1, 6-0.

In the quads singles, number one Sam Schroder of The Netherlands continued his perfect start to the competition with a 7-5, 6-0 win over the US' Bryan Barten.

In the same group, David Wagner, also of the US, overcame Ymanitu Silva of Brazil 6-4, 6-3 to secure his second-place above the Brazilian, with both players entering the match having won one and lost one.

In the other group, second seed Dutchman Niels Vink needed three sets to better Japan's Sugeno Koji, eventually triumphing in 6-3, 4-6, 6-3.

Britain's Andy Lapthorne sits second in the group after his 6-0, 6-0 win over Kyu-Seung Kim of South Korea.
