Tsuneyama fell behind in the men’s singles final against Chou Tien Chen, with the Chinese Taipei player winning the opener 21-15.

Tsuneyama bounced back impressively in the second by dominating the fourth seed to win 21-8.

The momentum stayed with Tsuneyama in the decider, with the Japanese player sealing a 15-21, 21-8, 21-17 victory.

Lee So-hee and Shin Seung-chan triumphed in an all-South Korean women’s doubles final against Kim So-yeong and Kong Hee-yong, which saw the top seeds collide.
