South Korea finished the Asian Table Tennis Championships in Doha by winning the two gold medals on offer today in the men's singles and women's doubles.

Third seed Lee Sang-su was victorious in the men's singles final with a win over fourth seed Chuang Chih-Yuan of Chinese Taipei at the Lusail Sports Arena.

In the semi-finals, Lee defeated Japanese 17th seed Shunsuke Togami 8-11, 13-11, 12-10, 11-6 to progress, while Chuang won 6-11, 14-12, 11-7, 11-9 against the top seed Jang Woo-jin of South Korea.

Lee then won in five games in the final against Chuang 10-12, 11-6, 11-6, 7-11, 11-8.

It was Lee's first Asian singles title.

Jeon Ji-hee and Shin Yubin gave South Korea the title in the women's doubles as the top seeds won in four games against Hong Kong fifth seeds Doo Hoi Kem and Lee Ho Ching.

Jeon and Shin comfortably defeated Japan's sixth seeds Miyu Nagasaki and Minami Ando 11-8, 11-8, 11-9 in the semi-finals, and Doo and Lee claimed victory over second seeds Cheng Hsien-Tzu and Liu Hsing-Yin from Chinese Taipei 11-9, 11-1, 11-3.

In the final, the South Koreans took gold with an 11-5, 7-11, 11-3, 11-4 win.
