In the first final of the day, the US started with a win in the women's coxed four, in a time of 7min 05.90sec thanks to the team of Quincy Stone, Imogen Cabot, Jane Cox, Julia Veith and Victoria Grieder.

Italy and Germany won the silver and bronze medals.

The second American gold came in the women's eight final in a time of 6:34.51, with Germany and Romania completing the podium.

Starting the day with a win, the US ended with one in the men's eight final - their team defeating Germany and Russia to the gold in 5:47.70.

Italians Emilio Pappalettera, Simone Pappalepore, Luca Vicino, Marco Vicino and Andrea Pagliaro won the men's coxed four final in 6:18.23 in front of Turkey and France.

French duo Zelie Jacoulet and Fleur Vaucoret claimed the women's pair gold in 7:29.90, and Chileans Magdalena Rojas and Antonia Heise, and Germany's Lena Gresens and Anni Koetitz finished second and third respectively.

Romanians Andrei-Petrisor Axintoi and Iliuta-Leontin Nutescu won the men's equivalent race in 6:41.99.

Germans Paul Martin and Kieran Holthues were second and Canadians Alexander Gonin and Matteo Banducci were third.

Romania added a second gold in two races when the quartet of Daria-Ioana Dinulescu, Maria Guzran, Elena-Maria Robitu and Ancuta-Adelina Ungurean crossed the line first in the women's four final in a time of 6:51.15.

France and Italy completed the podium.

Spaniards Jorge Knabe, Pablo Moreno, Juan Palomino and Eric Pastor won the men's race in 6:03.66, in front of Italy and Germany.

In the women's quadruple sculls, Switzerland's Thalia Ahumada Ireland, Nicole Schmid, Lina Kuehn and Olivia Roth won gold in 6:34.81, and Italy and Germany were the other medallists, while Germans Timo Strache, Adrian-Nick Bastian, Sydney Garbers and Maximilian Pfautsch won the men's equivalent in 5:52.22 in front of Italy and the Czech Republic.

Dutch pair Lotta van Westreenen and Phaedra van der Molen claimed gold in the women's double sculls final in 7:13.80 in front of Gaia Chiavini and Jeanne Roche of France and Ireland's Holly Davis and Rachel Bradley.

Germany's Finn Staeblein and Adrian Groth won the men's double sculls in 6:28.32, and were joined on the podium by Frenchmen Samuel Arque and Martin Bauer and Poland's Mikolaj Kulka and Daniel Galeza.

Lithuanian Povilas Juskevicius won gold in a tight finish in the men's singles sculls final in 7:02.00 with Belgian Aaron Andries less than a second behind in silver and American Isaiah Harrison was the bronze medallist.

Finally, Switzerland's Aurelia-Maxima Janzen won the women's singles sculls in 7:55.02 - with the top three separated by just half a second.

Italy's Giulia Clerici and Greece's Evangelia Fragkou were just behind in second and third.
