A public basketball court has been magnificently transformed to mark the launch of the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games West Midlands ticket ballot.

The court, in Summerfield Park in Birmingham, was designed and painted by England basketball player Kofi Josephs and local graffiti artist Zuke.

The court has been refurbished with street art in vibrant colours.

It is open for everyone to use and is intended to act as a lasting legacy the Commonwealth Games.

In attendance at the court's unveiling were local residents, British men's basketball captain Myles Hesson - who is from Birmingham - Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street, Birmingham City Council Leader Ian Ward and Olympic gold medallist Mark Lewis-Francis, who also won two Commonwealth Games medals sprinting for England.

Local residents have an exclusive window until July 30 to apply for Birmingham 2022 tickets here.
