Switzerland won two gold medals in extreme slalom on the final day of the International Canoe Federation (ICF) Junior and Under-23 Canoe Slalom World Championships.

In the men's under-23 extreme slalom final, Dimitri Marx led a one-two for Switzerland, starting off the first of four finals for the country in style.

Poland's Jakub Brzezinski claimed bronze while Russia's Andrei Pospelov was fourth.

In the final race of the Championships, Jessica Duc added a second Swiss gold in the women's junior extreme slalom.

Russia's Marina Novysh won the silver and Czech Republic's Tereza Kneblova claimed bronze in front of compatriot Amelie Cervenkova.

Britain's Nikita Setchell claimed the gold medal in the women's under-23 extreme slalom final, while Czech team mates Martina Satkova and Antonie Galuskova completed the podium in second and third.

Switzerland's Alena Marx was fourth.

Finally, Kaelin Friedenson of the United States won the gold in the men's junior extreme slalom, while Czech Republic's Martin Rudorfer won silver.

George Snook of New Zealand was the bronze medallist in front of Poland's Michal Ciaglo in fourth.
