Owned by Ibero Americana Radio Chile, ADN has 26 million listeners in the country.

This partnership looks to reach Chileans through the radio, where all the Pan American and Parapan American Games news will be transmitted on the station.

"The most important sporting event in the history of Chile can now be followed by all Chileans who love sports, regardless of where they are in the country," said executive director of Santiago 2023, Felipe De Pablo.

"The Santiago 2023 Corporation is proud to have the support and dissemination of Radio ADN since we understand that bringing the Pan American and Parapan American Games closer to the public is a priority and what better way to do it with a radio station as prestigious as this one."

It is set to be the largest multi-sport event to be held in Chile and the biggest competition since the 1962 FIFA World Cup.

"At ADN we are very happy to have reached this agreement with Santiago 2023, which is the largest sporting event in Chile since the 1962 World Cup," said director of Radio ADN, Carlos Costas.

"This connection occurs because ADN is the number one radio in sports and has a very transversal support.

"ADN Deportes is a space for information, commentary and company that is based on interaction with the audience, so each of the contents of the Games will have the best possible expression and will be a priority for us, taking into account the tremendous relevance that the Pan American Games have.

"I know that we will live up to this mega event, it is our challenge and commitment."

Santiago was awarded the 2023 Pan American and Parapan American Games after the bid was unanimously elected at the Association of National Olympic Committees General Assembly in Prague in November 2017.

It was the only bid following the withdrawal of Buenos Aires.

The Santiago 2023 Pan American Games is scheduled to take place from October 20 to November 5, while the Parapan American Games are set for November 17 to 25.
