The International Ski Federation (FIS) Cross-Country World Cup is set to resume in Ulricehamn in Sweden tomorrow.

Competition resumes tomorrow with a men and women's freestyle sprint, before team sprint events on Sunday (February 7).

Alexander Bolshunov of Russia will be aiming to continue his domination in the men's competition, having won two of the three events in Falun last weekend.

Norway’s Johannes Høsflot Klæbo will be a contender after triumphing in the remaining contest last weekend, topping the World Cup podium for the first time since November.

Italy's Federico Pellegrino has also been impressive in sprint events this season.

A Russian team featuring Bolshunov won the last team sprint event in December, with France second and Italy third.

Bolshunov has an extensive lead in the men's overall World Cup standings on 1,613.

Fellow Russian Ivan Yakimushkin is second on 774, while Maurice Manificat of France is on 558.

In the women's competition, Linn Svahn should be hoping to utilise home advantage once again following back-to-back wins in Falun.

Russia's Yulia Stupak will be aiming to better Jessie Diggins in a bid to close the gap with the American in the overall World Cup standings.

Diggins leads with 1,174 points, followed by Stupak on 904 and Rosie Brennan of the United States on 879.

Switzerland were the victors of the last women's team sprint.

Stupak helped Russia to a second place finish, while Slovenia placed third.
