A total of 16 million impressions were made since the event was broadcast on Saturday July 11.

Speaking about her win of the Best Newcomer award, 16-year-old Russian Alena Kostornaia said: "I am really very excited, because this was completely unexpected, I couldn't imagine that I would win.

"I didn't even find the right words, because I didn't fully realise that this big award goes to me."

ISU also released a highlights video from the awards as well as a reaction cam compilation.

Arguably the best figure skater of all time, Japan's Yuzuru Hanyu, was crowned the Most Valuable Skater of the 2019/20 season and expressed his gratitude for his win.

Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron of France won the Most Entertaining Programme award for their rhythm dance to "Fame", while Americans Madison Chock and Evan Bates were given the award for Best Costume based on their "Egyptian Snake Dance".

Canada's Shae-Lynn Bourne won the honour for Best Choreographer of the season, having worked alongside some of the biggest names in the sport including Hanyu. 

Bourne said: "What I love most is getting to know the skater and bringing out who they are, no matter what the story is that we decide on that the audience gets to see who they are."

Four-time world champion and Canadian skating legend Kurt Browning was given the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Eteri Tutberidze won Best Coach for the season.

Also featuring as part of the awards was musician Aloe Blacc, known for his hits "I Need a Dollar" and "The Man", who performed a live version of his new song "My Way".
