American Lily Zhang won four titles at the Pan American Championships in Paraguay ©ITTF

Lily Zhang completed a clean sweep of titles with victory in the women's singles, women's doubles and mixed doubles finals at the International Table Tennis Federation Pan American Championships in Paraguay.

The American won women's team gold earlier in the week and she partnered Kai Zhang to claim the mixed doubles title in Asuncion.

The duo defeated compatriots Amy Wang and Nikhil Kumar 11-7, 15-13, 10-12, 14-12 in the final.

Partnering Yue Wu, Zhang sealed a third triumph in the women's doubles as they won 11-9, 11-7, 11-4 against Daniela Ortega and Paulina Vega of Chile.

Her fourth and final victory came courtesy of a straight sets 11-8, 11-7, 11-3, 11-9 victory over Brazilian Bruna Takahashi.

Takahashi's compatriot Vitor Ishiy was a surprise winner of the men's singles tournament.

Ishiy despatched teammate and second seed Gustavo Tsuboi in the semi-finals before claiming the title with a 9-11, 11-3, 14-12, 11-4, 11-7 triumph against Argentina's Gaston Alto.

Alto leaves Paraguay with a gold and silver medal after clinching the men's doubles title.

Alto teamed up with compatriot Horacio Cifuentes to overcome Brazilians Tsuboi and Eric Jouti 8-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-9.
