Austria's Dominik Hernler won the wakeboard pro title on a weather-hit final day at the Festival of Extreme Sports (FISE) World Series event in Montpellier.

Hernler triumphed with a score of 71.25 points on the banks of the River Lez in the French city.

The United States’ Guenther Oka finished second with 69.59 points, while Hernler’s compatriot Timo Kalp came third with 65.83.

The event was one of very few to be held today due to wet conditions.

The parkour finals were cancelled, while the results of some competitions were determined based on the standings after earlier rounds.

The US's Nick Bruce was confirmed as the winner of the International Cycling Union BMX Freestyle Park World Cup event having topped the semi-final standings with 91.60 points.

Australia’s Logan Martin finished second with 89.40 points, while Croatia’s Marin Rantes came third with 88.00.

France’s Nicolas Servy won the World Skate Roller Freestyle Park World Cup event thanks to his semi-final points total of 86.66 points.

The Netherlands’ Sem Croft finished second with 84.00 points, while Servy’s fellow countryman Romain Godenaire came third with 83.33.

The BMX spine ramp result was based on those from qualification with the US's Patrick Casey prevailing on 86.50 points.

Argentina's Jose Torres Gil finished second with 83.70 points, while Casey's compatriot Justin Dowell came third with 83.60.

The next leg of the FISE World Series is due to take place in Edmonton in Canada from July 13 to 15.
