Home nation South Korea defeated Cambodia today to make it two wins out of two at the final qualification tournament for the 2018 Sitting Volleyball World Championships in Jeju.

An entertaining Pool A match saw the hosts men's team triumph 25-18, 25-15, 25-23 to successfully follow up their straight-sets victory over Latvia yesterday.

Latvia bounced back from that loss to beat Italy 25-19, 25-18, 25-20.

In Pool B, Croatia started their campaign with a 25-20, 25-11, 25-18 win over Thailand.

Both Croatia and Thailand have one win each to their names, while Mongolia, who were not in action today, are yet to get off the mark having lost to the latter yesterday.

Action at the Sarabong Multi-Gym is due to continue tomorrow with the schedule for Pool A pitting Latvia against Cambodia and Italy against South Korea.

Mongolia go up against Croatia in Pool B.

The women’s competition involves just two teams; hosts South Korea and Italy.

They will meet on three occasions with matches set to take place tomorrow, Saturday (March 31) and Sunday (April 1).

The competition is open solely to teams that have not already qualified for the 2018 World Championships, which are due to be held in The Netherlands from July 15 to 22 and will see 16 men's and 16 women's teams compete.
