The squad, which includes triple world champion Elise Christie and International Skating Union World Cup bronze medallist Charlotte Gilmartin, are aiming to become the first British female relay team to qualify for the Winter Olympics.

The duo are joined by a pool of talented young skaters and Find it Film will follow their journey and "explore what it takes to succeed at the highest level".

In order to gain Pyeongchang 2018 qualification, the British team must finish in the top eight across four qualification events due to take place later this year.

Filmed over six months, the project will culminate in a documentary that will be shown as part of Find it Film public and schools events as well as selected festivals.

"The ladies relay team are progressing well and are in a good place," said Paul Worth, GB Short Track ladies relay team coach.

"There is a lot of hard work behind the scenes for them, developing as a team and working on the best combinations.

"Breaking the British record last season was a huge step forward and confidence boost, and now we are working towards qualifying for the first time ever at an Olympic Games.

"We are very pleased to invite Find it Film to follow this journey."

Throughout the project, Find It Film and GB Short Track will share the team's progress through exclusive editorial, film clips and social media posts.

Find It Film was launched in March 2017 and is designed to share women’s sports stories from Olympians to people enjoying sport in their communities.

Alongside film production, the organisation also hosts public and schools events.

"Plus, we want to tell the human stories behind the Great Britain kit and ensure that these inspiring women touch as broad an audience as possible."
